1. Services

We provide diagnostic, repair, and replacement services for mobile phones, tablets, laptops, consoles, and other electronic devices (“devices”).

By authorising diagnostics or repair, you authorise us to disassemble the device where reasonably necessary to inspect, test, or carry out the requested service.

All services are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Repair timelines are estimates only and may be affected by parts availability, device condition, customer responsiveness, or additional faults discovered during repair.

2. Repair Authorisation

By authorising a repair, you confirm that:

  • You are the owner of the device or have authority to authorise repairs

  • You understand the nature of the repair requested

  • You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of electronic repairs

We reserve the right to refuse or cease a repair where continuing would pose a safety risk, risk further damage, or where the device condition materially differs from that described.

3. Data, Access, and Device Content

Customers are solely responsible for backing up all data prior to repair.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for loss or corruption of data, including but not limited to photos, contacts, messages, files, software, or operating systems.

Customers are responsible for ensuring devices are accessible for testing. We are not responsible for limitations in testing or functionality caused by passwords, account locks, security features, or activation restrictions.

4. Pre-Existing and Hidden Faults

Devices may contain pre-existing, underlying, or latent faults not apparent prior to disassembly.

We are not responsible for faults or failures arising from:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear

  • Prior repairs or third-party modifications

  • Manufacturer defects or design limitations

Where reasonably possible, customers will be informed before additional chargeable work is carried out.

5. Liquid / Water Damage

Liquid-damaged devices are repaired strictly on a best-endeavours basis.

We do not guarantee full functionality, long-term reliability, or prevention of corrosion or future failure.

Once work has commenced, liquid damage repairs are non-refundable due to the unpredictable nature of liquid ingress.

6. Parts, Features, and Compatibility

Replacement parts may include original, refurbished, or compatible aftermarket components.

Certain manufacturer features or software functions, including but not limited to water resistance ratings, biometric features, system warnings, calibration indicators, or performance metrics, may be affected by repair and cannot be guaranteed.

Where non-original parts are used, cosmetic or functional differences may occur and will be explained prior to repair where applicable.

7. Warranty and Statutory Rights

Any warranty applies only to the specific part replaced and the workmanship provided.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental or impact damage

  • Liquid damage

  • Software faults or user-induced issues

  • New or unrelated faults

Warranty is void if the device is opened, modified, or repaired by a third party after our work.

Warranty duration will be confirmed at the time of repair.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Collection, Delivery, and Postal Repairs

Devices sent by post or courier travel at the customer’s risk. Customers are responsible for secure packaging.

We strongly recommend the use of tracked and insured delivery services. We are not liable for loss, delay, or damage caused by postal or courier services, particularly where adequate tracking or insurance has not been used.

Devices will not be returned until payment has been received in full.

9. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the repair unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to request payment in advance for parts or services and to retain possession of a device until payment is made in full.

10. Estimates and Unrepairable Devices

Any price provided prior to inspection is an estimate only.

If a device is deemed uneconomical or impossible to repair:

  • The customer will be informed

  • No repair labour will be charged unless previously agreed

  • Diagnostic fees may still apply

No additional chargeable work will be carried out without customer approval.

11. Abandoned Devices

Devices not collected or returned within 30 days of notification may be considered abandoned.

We will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer and, where possible, issue a final notice prior to disposal. Where no response is received, we reserve the right to dispose of or recycle the device and recover any outstanding costs.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the repair carried out.

We are not liable for loss of income, business, profits, or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or loss or damage caused directly by our negligence while the device is in our possession, nor does it affect rights that cannot be excluded under law.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, power outages, illness, or equipment failure.

14. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
